"If you can fly don't stop at the sky 'cause there's foot prints on the moon."

My sister has given me two very odd nicknames. One fits me well. It is Sherlock. The other, I don't know...it is Snape. So, according to my sister I'm clever, over active, unsociable, (This much is true. She often points out just how much I am like Sherlock, shocking really. Oh, except for the clever. More like, easily board and I get very gloomy at times.) Also it seems she thinks I have greasy hair and am distend to be alone and die of a broken heart. (Thank you, sister dear. So nice to know someone has such high hopes for my future.)

My hair only looks like this SOME times.

ANYHOW...That had NOTHING to do with this post in which I announce I FINISHED EDITING TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I plan to fall over and sleep. (I'll do a longer post on this later when my brain is working again.)

But, I noticed something. Something I thank all of you for. You, my dearest readers, you have brought me up to forty followers! I almost fell over in a faint...or jumped about my room and stubbed my toe on my trunk. You all are so kind and I'm in shock so many of you read my blog. It makes me feel loved.

I would like to hold a kind of thank you for everyone. But I'm not sure what to do, and since whenever I get into a fix I hold a voting, I think I should do so again. I thought about holding a contest, but then only one follower would get a thank you, when it is ALL of you I want to thank.
I've tried to think up other ideas, like a contest, but I'm not sure what it would be or how that would be a thanks.
I could release something from my book. A short story all of you would like to read, you could even pick what it would be about. But, again, not sure how good of a thank you that is. So, I'm open for ideas. Anything you have throw at me, just do it softly please. I don't want to get hit in the head with flying ideas. They can hurt.

And now I'm going to bed to read Jules Verne if I can manage my fat volume while laying down.

I bet most of you know the quote.

  1. Yes! Another Sherlock! (I thought I was alone in the world...)

Congratulations on the editing! (And 40 followers, too) *cheers*

  2. More followers! Gotta love them.:)

I hope you turn your blog into a book. I'll buy a copy. Or five. I absolutely love your blog, I tell everyone about it.:)

Even my dog and the squirrel in our big oak tree knows.

Socks (the dog) says she'll buy a copy, too.

  3. I would dearly love a nice cup of tea.... if at all possible :)

  4. Congrats on finishing editing! Now you can rest for a little bit. :)
Wow, I wish I could have 40 followers on my blog! I don't post much, so that would explain it.
I love your blog! It is so funny and spontaneous!
    Keep up the good work!

  5. Congradulations on your editing quest come to an end! I am still editing my novel... slowly.

I have one question-- when you were jumping aorund your room, did you walk over a coffee table? If so, you are most definetly deserving of the nickname SHERLOCK.

    ~Robyn Hoode

  6. Way-hey! Congratulations on the editing. :)
No, in answer to your question, I've never actually read the Tintin books but I'm beginning to feel that I really should.
    Take care!

  7. Congratulations on the editing and forty followers! Just enjoy it. No prizes needed.

  8. Bella,

First, yes, the quote was from Tintin. *High five*

Second, Tea is good, I like tea. *Passes a steaming cup.*

  9. Robyn Hoode,

What is your novel about if I may ask?
Editing is slow work. I hope it goes well for you. *Sends marshmallows.*

Sadly, I do not have a coffee table, or yes, I would walk over it. I'm kind of known for walking on furniture I shouldn't.

  10. Bella,

    In answer to this comment

2 facts; When I go to a movie it usually takes all amounts of self-control to NOT yell at the character/plot. sometimes I'll mutter bits of advice... and all my sister shush me. Sniff. So the characters and story don'[t have a chance to listen. 2) lately I've been saying "Fantastic" a lot. I must have Who fever :)

Oh yes, not yelling at characters in movies is a problem. I do that too. "Don't go in there! You're going to regret it! Told you so."

Fantastic is a great word to use. And I think everyone who has seen Doctor Who has Who fever. It's like being around someone with a cold, you're bound to catch the cold. Only Who fever is better then a cold.

  11. I emailed you a synopsis of my novel.
And thank you for the virtual marshmallows. Now, I wonder if I can put one of my dragon charries to work roasting them...

    ~Robyn Hoode

  12. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! On finishing your editing and on 40 followers.

Destined to be alone and die of a broken heart?! Heehee. I can think of worse ways to die....

Hmm, a short story sounds good to me. I'm a sucker for stories. :)

What Jules Verne book are you reading?

  13. CONGRATULATIONS!!! =D How great that you finished editing!!

Also, that's so cool that you have the American Girl Doll mini dolls! They're so cute. =)

No Barnes and Nobles?? Thats a crime! Of course, fast food palces are also crimes... Unless you are ina hurry and can't eat anywhere else.
I love used bookstores filled with old dusty books as well. We have a really nice used bookstore with filled to the brim with books, CDs, and DVDs. That where I saw the Avengers show. And they had Doctor Who! And Star Trek. But all waaaay too expensive. Luckily the books are priced reasonably.

Haha David Tennant probably would prank us back. And then we'd have to wait 10 years before pranking him back...

I love the Idiot's Lantern because I love it when the Doctor shows so much emotion towards Rose. It's like, if she's in trouble he'll do anything to save her. I hope whoever I marry is like that.
The pshycic (I hate "ph" words... so confusing) paper is sooo cool! The boy is like, "Who did he think you were?" and the Doctor's like, "The Duke of _____ evidently...." and then when the Doctor is climbing the tower to destroy the Wire the gurad is down below going, "Careful your majesty!"

I'm watching The Impossible Planet and The Satan Pit. I like the Oods. They are odd. Plus, that's just fun to say. xD

I'm gonna go watch the conclusion to the episodes now because I could only watch the first one last night and left me with a cliffhanger!

  14. I accept your tea graciously. (And it's fantastic)I wish I could have a banana with it....

effective. A lot of times it's tough to get that "perfect balance" between usability and visual appeal. I must say you have done a fantastic job with this. In addition, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Safari. Exceptional Blog!

All I hear is a bunch of whining about something you can fix if you were not too busy seeking attention.
