" Excuse me barmaid, I'm afraid you brought me the wrong offspring."

For today's letter, O, I will be doing another movie I haven't seen yet but got excited to see when I learned it is based after a comic which isn't published yet.

Oblivion, which will be out this Friday - which means I will hopefully be able to see it soon!

Sorry, no quote yet.

Though this movie is staring an actor I'm not too crazy about, Tom Cruse, the plot looks brilliant. A war which changed earth, a man who is supposed to be cleaning up the mess but discovers a secret which will change his life - and likely earth - forever. Also, it has cool robot thingys in it and space-y battles! What isn't to love?

Hopefully it will be as good as it looks.
Now, before I go and finish the Star Trek episode I'm in the middle of, I have a tag! Which means, naturally, I was tagged. You can find the blogger who tagged me HERE!!

This is a tag with rules.

 1. Thank the person who nominated you and link back to their site. (Therefore, since I've linked...THANK YOU!!!)
 2. Post 11 random things about yourself. (Good thing I'm a random person.)
 3. Answer 11 questions from the person who tagged you.
 4. Ask the people you tag 11 questions.
 5. Nominate 11 other blogs.

 1. 11 random facts about me.

1...again. While I don't need much sleep to function, I do need at least six hours. (Unlike Sherlock, my brain doesn't work best on lack of sleep. Lack of sleep usually ends with me giggling insanely and turning clumsy.)

 2. There are certain words I simply cannot spell. Therefore, I never use them in my books, or if I do it is only because I HAVE to. (Squirrel. Crochet. Abraham. To name a few. I had to look all these up.)

 3. I hate numbers

 4. I rarely entered the adult section at the library

 5. I based Peter after myself...meaning, like he, I am terrible at coming up with witty comebacks. I usually just end up grinning and stammering, then later thinking up something really clever.

 6. I still like watching cartoons - just not many of the new ones coming out. I prefer the old ones, such as Bugs Bunny among others.

 7. I use my left hand as much as possible in the hopes someone will ask if I'm left handed so I can reply with, "I'm not a left handed man."

 8. One of my favourite bands is The Temptations from the 60's-70's.

 9. I have a twin bed, which means I get a tiny corner of it and Kitty gets the rest. (Along with my books, which displeases her.)

 10. The moment spring comes to my home town I'm going on a picnic.

 11. I think part of the reason I'm such a bad aim with my bow is because it is so windy where I live I'm used to shooting crocked in an attempt to hit the target. Therefore, when the wind isn't blowing, I am shooting too far off the mark to come close to hitting it. (That's my theory anyways.)

Now, to answer 11 questions. (This is a very Matt Smith tag.)

 1. The cookie or the cream?
Speaking of oreos? Cream. Always the cream.

 2. Have you ever gone skinny dipping?
Not where I'm from! I'd turned into an ice cube!

 3. How tall are you in cm?
129.5? I'm not sure I did it right - again, I hate numbers.

 4. Why is the sky blue?
It got tired of being green.

 5. How much wood would a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood?
 Exactly 1 cord.

 6. Boxers of briefs?
 Does this apply to girls?

 7. Do you believe in Santa?
His name is Nicolas St. North and he's a Russian swordsman and wizard in training.

 8. (I am copying this right from his blog because I don't know how he did it.)
¿uoıʇsǝnb sıɥʇ pɐǝɹ noʎ uɐɔ
One of the best parts of dyslexia is that I can read upside down as easily as I can read right side up.

 9.  ?eno siht tuoba woH
 Backwards is even easier.

 10. What is your pet peeve?
People bitting their finger nails. It is enough to make me hit the roof.

 11. Are you tired of this post yet?
 Nah, it was fun!

 Now, my 11 questions.

 1. The Doctor shows up and asks you to be his companion at the same time Sherlock asks you to be his blogger. Who'd you pick?

 2. In the great Clara debate, who do YOU think she is. (And if you don't know who Clara is...I've two words for you. No, three. Watch Doctor Who.)

 3. You're falling off a building, which Avenger do you want to save you?

 4. Would you go for a ride in a cold, hot air balloon?

 5. Does your wardrobe lead to Narnia?

 6. You meet an Alien who is about to kill you. Do you offer him a Jelly Baby or run?

 7. If your best friend faked his death to save your life, then popped up a year later to inform you he was still alive, would you faint or punch him?

 8. Buttered popcorn or plain?

 9. Have you ever had a flip phone in your position and wished to yell, "Beam me up, Scotty!" into it?

 10. What is your favouritest book?

 11. It is raining, do you go for a walk in it or sit by the fire with hot chocolate and a good book?

 Now, I will be tagging....

I'm not going to tell you what the quote is from, because you should know already. *Raises eyebrows.*

Now, I'm going to finish Star Trek.

  1. o.O I had no trouble reading the upside-down or back-to-front questions either. I'm talented too!! XD I'm with you on Santa!

  2. I've heard a few people say that about Oblivion...."Neat premise, but not thrilled about Cruise"...lol.

  3. Just stopping by for the A-Z Challenge. Please check us out and sign up to follow if you like what you see. Juliet atCity Muse Country Muse

  4. Thanks for tagging me Jack! I actually don't do tags anymore, just so you know. But thanks for thinking of me!

I am so excited about Oblivion!!! I didn't know it was coming out this Friday... cool, will have to find a babysitter.

I love Tom Cruise... not as a person, but the man can act (though he can't throw a baseball (see: war of the worlds)) Have you seen Knight and Day? Because it's pretty much his best role ever!

I like your questions, so I shall answer some of them... I would definitely go with the Doctor over Sherlock, I'd want Iron Man to save me (or possibly Hawkeye), my wardrobe ALWAYS leads to Narnia, and my favoritest book ever is "He Whistles for the Cricket" by Gwen Walker.

  6. Yes! I literally laughed out loud a whole lot during this post!!! hehehe. Still giggling. :-) And I didn't have any trouble with the backwards and up side down questions. Actually, when I saw the backwards one my first though was "Another one?" :-) So yeah. I could read them.

Thanks for the tag! This will be so much fun to do!

Oblivion looks awesome! I was looking at some posters and such about it yesterday. I am sorta fond of Tom Cruise though. :-) All the MI movies, Last Samurai, Knight and Day. Yeah. He does fun movies. :-)

  7. Hey, who doesn't like Bugs Bunny?
    Looking forward to Oblivion.
And thank you so much for buying and reading my book! If you want to see the trailer for CassaStar, it's here on my blog - http://alexjcavanaugh.blogspot.com/p/about-me.html

  8. Ooh, a fun tag! That WAS very Matt Smith. :) I'm going to my blog in a mo', and I'll do my tag.

Which series of Star Trek are you watching? The ones with Kirk (which are COOOOOORNY, but which I like better than any of the other series) or the ones with Picard (which I also like, just not as much as Kirk)?

OBLIVION looks really good. I'm not wild about Tom Cruise either. Not sure why. Maybe it's his nose. I actually liked him in the last MI, but I admit, I was more taken with Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg's characters than I was with "Ethan Hunt".

I do not want Iron Man to vanish from the Avengers! They had better not kill him! That's all I'm sayin'. I will go after Joss Whedon with a flame thrower if that happens.

One of my favourite cartoons of all times is the older Winnie the Pooh shows. There are only three of them that I know of: Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too, Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day, and Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree. They are WAY cute! I also liked Chip and Dale.

If you can find The Thief, I heartily recommend the read. It was a brilliant book. And there are more books in the series! I need to read Queen Of Attolia (or Atollia?) next, and Amy is reading it (s-l-o-w-l-y) right now, so I must patiently wait until she has finished it before I can snatch and devour it in turn.

    1. Ooh, those are some of my favoritest books of all time. The Thief was great, but the rest of the series is just excellent. (I accidentally started with Queen of Attolia, because a student recommended it to me and didn't tell me it was the second book in a series) LOL

  9. thanks for tagging me! Is this an award thing?

  10. Errrrk! This post made me giggle like a weirdo. :)

I will work on the tag NOW

I would comment longer, but we're going to watch Tintin, so I'm sure you'll understand why I'm going to keep it short. :)

  11. Oooh! Thanks for tagging me. I'm looking forward to this one. :D

Hehehe...you can't stand nail-biters? Oh no! Some of my sisters bite their nails like crazy. lol. I don't like it much myself. I remember I bit my nails down to the quick one time and they were all sore...and I don't think I've bitten them since then.

By the way, I'm really jealous that you own a bow. I've had a thing for bows and arrows ever since I was five or six and watched Robin Hood. Then the Lord of the Rings came about and that re-enforced it.
    Bows are so COOL! :)

I agree about Tony Stark. His character has the most character development, I think. I love his conversion story in the first one. And I actually really like the way he's such a little 'smarty-at-the-party' fellow. Because you know that's his way of hiding how he really feels.

I am devoted to Captain America. :) And I know they're bringing Bucky back...but I think he's been brainwashed by the Russians. or something like that. I hope Steve doesn't have to kill him, or anything terrible like that. I really liked Bucky.

  12. I'd like to see Oblivion too. It sounds really interesting.

  13. I am the EXACT same way with witty comebacks!! And telling people about Jesus. I always think of something to say AFTER the awkward conversation... Like the other day I had the perfect oppertunity (if I had thought of it). There were a bunch of people dressed in arthurian costume fencing in the park. I could have gone up to them and said, "So, do you rescue damsels in distress?" Then, if they were clever, they would reply, "Why, do you need saving?" or something along those lines. And then I could have told them that I'm already saved and then proceed to tell them to gospel...
Unfortunately, that didn't go down and all I did was stare at them in giddy awe. I didn't think up the above scenerio until the next day.

If someone askes if you are left handed you could also say, "I think you should know something, I'm not left handed." (from the Princess Bride.... Westley and Inigo's sword fight.)

At the end of Christmas Invasion the Doctor says something like, "Not too bad for a man in his jim-jams! Very Arthur Dent. Nice man, Arthur Dent." Somethin' like that! Oh yes, the Lion King reference was super cool too!!

YAY! You like the Unicorn and the Wasp too!!! I have no clue why people don't like it... Well, there's the whole bee thing... but if you subtract that it's a great episode! (Without the bee, though, there would be no plot.. haha.)

Sally Sparrow is one of the best non-companions! She's so great!

Hitler fought in WW1 and then went to prison in the early 1920's (where he wrote his book). He was realised Dec. 1924. After that began his rise to power.... In 1933 he was elected chacellor and from there he was given/gained as much power as he wanted. Let's Kill Hitler was set in 1938 (I just looked it up) when Hitler was building his army and completely going against everything the Treaty of Versailles (which was the peace treaty after WW1) said.

I think I'd like North and South too... I've heard lots of good things about it. And it has Thorin in it.... Hee hee, it's funny. You say that The Hobbit has Thornton in it because you saw N+S first. I saw N+S has Thorin in it because I've only seen The Hobbit.

Haha I know! I loved Howl switching places with his son... I feel a tad bit sorry for Sophie though - having to deal with both of them! I wouldn't mind getting a few more books with them either... Only I think the author is dead now.
Did I mention that I found Howl's Moving Castle at the thrift store recently? I bought it.

Oh I love the OK Corral Star Trek episode! That one is great! And Chekov is great in it.... I thought that I heard somewhere that they were going to try give Chekov more feature episodes in the third season and that was the first one... and then they didn't do any more with him as the main character! I thought that was kind of funny.
Have you seen Star Trek Four? The one with the whales?

Also, thanks for the tag! I'm off to do it!

  14. Oh yeah.... and my dad wants to see Oblivion. You'll have to do a movie review when you see it!

  15. "...how to get that one special guy to find you, chase you, and give you the love you deserve forever. If you're sick of broken hearts, bad relationships, or just ending up with the WRONG guy (even though he might feel so right at the time), then Capture His Heart is for you."http://www.rebelmouse.com/michaelfiore/

  16. Thank you very much for the tag, Jack! I'll be doing it in the next couple weeks.

I'm not crazy about Tom Cruise either. My mom liked him in Top Gun, but I haven't seen that movie.

Which Star Trek series were you watching?

Wind! It is very windy where I live, too and we are always compensating for that when we play ball games.

When I was little I used to bite my fingernails. I haven't done it in years and years....

Do you want to leave a comment? Come on, it will be fun. I want to get to know you and know why you stopped by my site. Don't worry if you don't know what to say, I will reply with something fun. Do you want to leave a comment? It doesn't have to be a long one.
