"The old curator lay near the door, looking indigent, as if death was a silly modern fad that he rather disproved of."

 Wherein Jack feels accomplished.

I have emerged from my bedroom victorious. Kind of like Stefan and Magda after the battle they just had. Now, if I can edit another chapter tomorrow and one on Saturday I will be caught up. Unfortunately, the cover is still at a stand still, but I am determined to have something by Saturday. (Picture wise. I have about two ideas at the moment and for one I need a picture. The cover will still not be out until the 14th, my final day of editing.)

I'd try and think up more to say but the library is demanding my book back. Since I don't have to edit more tonight I am hoping to finish it because I don't want to return it until I have reached the end - it's a good book and I've been wanting to read it for a long time. (I'll save the title for the review I have planned.)

Quote is from afore mentioned book.

 Allons-y!

  1. Hurrah! Good for you Jack!

Also, that is a super cool quote. I can't wait to find out more about the book it came from!

  2. Yay, Jack! *Pats you on back and offers you a chocolate peanut butter smoothie*

Which book is that quote from? I like it, it reminds me a little of Diana Wynne Jones. :D

  3. I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all is needed to get setup? I'm assuming having a blog like yours would cost a
pretty penny? I'm not very internet savvy so I'm not 100% sure.
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Kudos

  4. Oooh, YAY! Editing is hard...ever so hard. It's almost like doing math. My brain just turns off and refuses to come back on until I do something else. :)

I hope you managed to get through your book. I am rather terrible about returning my library books on time...I always have fines on my card. Which is rather embarrassing since my sister works there and I really should know better. Oh well.

    Cheers!

    P.S. OH! I awarded you!

  5. Glad you're getting caught up on editing! If you don't mind me asking, why are you coming out with a new series next, instead of continuing on with Peters series? (Assuming that there are more. I think I remember you saying there were, but I could be wrong.) I know you addressed this before, but I can't find it and am curious...

Hope all goes well with the cover!

  6. Hurray for you! It's quite rewarding, isn't it, to look at all the editing you've done and say, "I did that."

I'm interested in the book quote. It does sound a bit Diana Wynne Jones-ish. :)
