"It was the beginning...it was a joke...I'm not going to tell it now."

I'm on an editing role. Do you know how rare that is? It kind of means I give up on everything else and edit while I am enjoying it. So, sleep has kind of been pushed aside. Thankfully I'm one of those people who doesn't need a lot of sleep. "I can stay awake for Daaaayyss with no side effects....AHHHHHHHHH!!!" *Eye twitches.* Sorry.
No, I'm not that bad. I've been sleeping. But I have been making good progress with editing, now if I could just find my thumb drive to get back the edits I lost.

But, even with sleep, don't expect me to make a lot of sense right now. That is pushing it. (As if I ever make sense.)

I was watching Monsters VS. Aliens and made another Singur discovery. (He just fits so well with any mad, trench coat wearing scientist!)

You know, if he had a bug head

As of today I have my dominion name set up! (Thanks to one of the nice workers at the site I bought it from and half an hour of fiddling around, trying to find out why it was being so difficult. In the end he found a simple bypass. I like simple.)
I think I even found a place to help with the background and header! So maybe everything will be done soon.

NaNo is now only a month away! Is everyone ready? I'm still working on my long outline - it's the first outline I've ever done and it has taken up seven or so pages in my notebook already. (I think I might reveal which book I will be doing, but not until closer to November.)

Has everyone seen the new Hobbit trailer?!?!?!?!?! Are you as excited as I am? (Doesn't Benedict Cumberbach make a convincing dragon? It is almost a little disturbing.)
The spider scene looks like it is going to be unnaturally long. Someone is going to have to give me a detailed description of that battle because I don't plan to watch that part.

I saw the first episode of Agents of SHIELD. If you haven't you need to. Coulson has a bigger role in it so is, naturally, even cooler than the over Marvel movies he was in. (AND HE'S ALIVE!!!! So, I'm happy.)

I also saw the Frozen trailer when I went to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. That one is a must watch for me, I'm going to drag someone opening day I think. (I say drag but with these kinds of movies I can usually find willing volunteers.)

In the last week, maybe week and a half, I have almost finished another season in the new TV show I am watching. I will have it done tonight, in fact - not the whole show but this season. Don't ask how I am managing with everything else because I don't know.

That is about all the randomness I have. It doesn't seem like much...I am going to have to fix this. Blame it on the editing, it probably commandeered my randomness until I get more on the book done. I think I might go and do some now...

Quote is from SHIELD, when Coulson is trying to tell a joke and the man he is telling it to doesn't get it.

 Allons-y!

  1. I'm loving SHIELD! Of course, I'm pretty willing to give anything by Whedon at least a shot.

Editing is one of those weird things for me... sometimes I love it, sometimes I would do anything, include gnawing off my own arm, to get out of having to do it. Weird. But I'm glad you're in the midst of being on a roll with it! :) That's always nice.

I have not seen the new Hobbit Trailer (I prefer to watch trailers in the theater... which means I don't see them as often as other people). And I am really really really hoping that Frozen is good... but I'm also a bit worried, because I LOVE the story of the Snow Queen... but this looks like "based on" might be one of the biggest stretches EVER).

  2. And I watched the second episode of S.H.I.E.L.D. last night - you are going to dig the ending!
Glad your website is coming together.

  3. Ok, I saw the title of this post pop up on my dashboard and almost squealed. I AM ABSOLUTELY LOVING Agents of SHIELD!!!!!!! I saw Ep. 1 a few days ago and now I can hardly wait to see Ep. 2 tonight!!!!

I'm glad to hear your editing is going well. But, I'm sorry to hear about your still missing flash drive. That is not good. ):

I'm eager to see your site!

Hmm, I'm still trying to decide if I'm doing NaNo or not. I am leaning toward doing it- with a new story....

I did see the new Hobbit trailer!! My feelings are kind of mixed. Based on some of the things in the trailer- it seems that Jackson has made some major changes with the storyline involving the Elves of Mirkwood. On the other hand, Benedict Cumberbatch is FANTASTIC as Smaug!!!!!!! I'm very eager to see the movie. And, I'll be happy to fill you in on the spider scene.

What new TV show are you watching?

  4. Yay! I'm so excited about S.H.I.E.L.D! *dances around* I'll need to figure if I want to dive in and start the show now, or wait until the whole season is out. I am starting to fall behind on some TV shows that I'm watching already...but...it's Coulson! I'll have to see.

Yeah, I'm really excited about the next Hobbit movie. Except, I don't know if I like the whole Legolas thing that seems to be going on. It just seems kind of weird and random to me. Maybe it will make more sense in the movie.

I've been thinking about doing Nano but I'm not sure if I'm going to this year. I might do my own type of nano and just make myself write everyday during November, but I don't know if I really want to commit to 50,000 words in a month. *Grins* It's like, "Goodbye, life!"

I hope your editing stays on the roll for you! It's so awesome when that happens.

    Cheers!

  5. OH MY WORD! I was JUST thinking about Monsters vs. Aliens this morning! Do you read minds? Creeeeepy.

Hurrah for dominions! Hurrah for NaNoWriMo! Hurrah for hyper scientists who drink too much coffee! Hurrah for the movies and TV (especially 'cause I heard that Paul McCartney's new song was in Cloud with a Chance of Meatballs 2). And hurrah for the new Hobbit trailer!!!!
AHHH! The spiders looks creepy! And Benedict Cumberbatch is the PERFECT dragon! Who knew his voice could go deeper? Unless they made it go deeper technologically. That would be sad. And what's up with Legolas and that elf-girl? And what's up with Beorn? And what's up with the barrel scene? They were all so good in the book... but we'll have to see once the movie comes.

Wow, now I can say 'have fun editing' and it will be true! So, have fun editing!

  6. I'm glad you're having fun editing! It can be such a drudge sometimes, but then other times, it can be a lot of fun reconnecting with characters and the story.(:
Ahhhh, I've been wanting to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2! Was it good? Frozen also looks amazing...I can't wait to see it! So many new movies are coming out...
I watched the pilot for S.H.I.E.L.D. last night with my sisters...I wanted to like it, I really did, but I ended up not liking it very much at all. :/ I didn't really like any of the characters...except Coulson, of course! He was the main reason I wanted to watch it. :P I also started watching that Sleepy Hollow show, thinking I probably wouldn't like it, but I ended up really liking it. Funny how things work out!(:

  7. See, now I have aNOTHER TV show I must watch. I'm super excited about Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I'm just trying to book it through Supernatural first. (I'm guessing *that's* the TV show you're currently watching? :)

The Hobbit trailer jazzed me out. Except, I don't know how I'll like Legolas and Taureal. That might make me a little irritated. Other than that, the rest of the movie looks awesome. And hey, wasn't Beorn the same guy who played Aramis in The Three Musketeers movie?

    Enjoy your editing.

  9. UGH! I NEED TO STOP WANTING TO GET INTO MORE TV SHOWS! I'M BEHIND IN *LIFE* AS IT IS. I will not watch Agents of SHIELD until I have finished SPN. I won't I won't... I don't even know where to go to watch it, actually. Don't tell me. Because if I know.... I'll watch it. And that's the last thing I need to do. LOL.

The Hobbit Trailer made me crazy!!!! SO HYPED!!!!!!!! But I don't know if I like Legolas having a girlfriend.... she's prolly gonna die. :(

And now... If I could, I'd say Dean's *word*...( to which you would have to reply "Jerk." ) but I can't so I won't. And that made no sense but I don't care. Good bye.

  11. Editing kick! Woot! That's an awesome thing to be on. I salute you, Cap'n'. Having just edited my own book I know what a daunting task that is.

Monster Vs. Aliens! LOVE that movie! I have seen it so many times and still never grow tired of it.

I CANNOT WAIT FOR NANO!!!! :D I'm so pumped this year!

HOBBIT TRAILER! *flails* I MAY have accidentally squealed out loud when Smaug started speaking. I'm so glad I was in the room by myself. But...Benedict Cumberbatch... Need I say more? He does such a good Smaug. AGH.

Oh my goodness, I'm loving Agents of SHIELD as well! I watched the second episode just today. It's such a good show! COULSON! :D

Okay, I think I've fangirled quite enough in this comment.

    Blessings!
