"It's all this fur. It makes me look, poofy." "Fine, you have fat hair, but when you're ready to talk I'm here."

 Wherein Jack is happy.

So, apparently there is this random holiday someone randomly stuck at the beginning of a random month. And, because all this randomness has to add up to equal something, I get a whole day off from school. It's like someone just handed me a bit of freedom and left me sitting here going, "A whole day to do whatever I want! Anything! Wait...what did I used to do for fun before school started?"
But that isn't the reason I'm happy.

NaNo starts at 12 tonight. (I'm writing this early because I don't want to have to do it tonight or tomorrow, first day of NaNo.)
But that isn't the reason I'm happy.

I think we are FINALLY going to get my cover picture this weekend.
But that isn't why I'm happy.

 Curious yet?
 Good.
That is a reason I'm happy.

But the real reason I'm happy is because books are coming out!!!!!! (And anytime new books come it deserves a moment of happiness.)

First up...in just FIVE days The Royal Ranger - the last book in the Ranger's Apprentice Series - will be coming out. Let's just take a moment to breathlessly squeal with delight. *Pause*

I went to look for it yesterday. I thought it was out now so I went on a mad raiding spree at my town's book stores. I didn't find it but I did find something just as exciting.

Hm, hm, you're seeing that right. It is Lemony Snicket's newest book in the "All The Wrong Questions" series. I'm going to buy it. I might not be able to eat for a week because I never have enough money to buy two books in one pay period but I don't think I'll mind. Will Treaty and Lemony Snicket...who needs food?

And now, for two cover reveals I'm taking part in. These books aren't coming out in five days or are out, but you should keep an eye on them because they sound like good ones.

 First up is....

Isn't that an amazing cover?
This book is written by a blogger I just recently found.
(The book in the author's words.)
Inspired elves
Some say that Williams Syndrome is the inspiration for elves given that those with Williams syndrome have star burst eye patterns and elfin faces.

Short book blurb for Ribbon of Darkness:
An old family secret draws Ribbon into an Elven world while Draven is forced to find a way to drag her back home to save Christmas magic.

Find out more about the author, Decadent Kane:

This second book I am excited about personally. It is by one of my favouritest authors, who wrote a book which I completely fell in love with. I wanted another book by her after finishing the first - and while this will not have the amazing Ransom in it - I still REALLY want it.

 So first, the book's summery.
The troubled people of war-torn Chambria are on the brink of starvation, and
a delicate princess with a recurring nightmare is their only hope. Alexandra
knows that her value to her country consists mainly in her ability to marry
well, but when she is kidnapped by the rebels and taken to meet the man
claiming to be both Chambria's true king and her real father, her entire
world falls apart. Will Princess Alexandra be able to untangle the web of
lies and discern who is the true king and her father?

 And Miss Greyson's amazing cover.

Wonderful, right? Now, don't you want the book as badly as I do?

That's all I have, because none of the other wonderful books I'm waiting for are close to being out yet 8-P And now I have to go, so I can get everything ready for NaNo.

  Quote is from Ice Age.

 Allons-y!

  3. All the Wrong Questions #2 is out?!! My library needs it! AHHH! I need it!! I wonder if it comes out in America first. Probably. I've had The Royal Ranger for a month. Haven't read it yet, though. I plan to do a whole-series reread. :)

    1. Greetings! It is great to meet you!

I know!!! I was SO giddy when I learned there was going to be a final Ranger's book! I liked The Lost Stories and it felt like a nice tie up, but I was so sad to see Will and Halt go. And even though something bad happens to poor Will in this one, according to the summery, I can't wait to get my hands on it.

    2. Thank you! It's lovely to meet you as well. :) oh no! Now I'm in a quandary of sorts. Should I not read it so then I don't have to fret about something unkind happening to Will and just keep the fairy tale of happily ever after, or should I read it so I know what happens even if something bad *does* happen to Will? Ackkk! It's not like he'd be killed off, right? Surely not. Right? Hm... I don't know what to do now.. I haven't been able to read a few of the middle books yet due to lack of book-buying money, so maybe I should read those first...
