This post is late. I don't even want to do it.
Okay, I will explain myself.
One reason is I slept badly last night and I just want to go to bed. Another is I played hide and seek with mermaids all evening, and then spun little boys around in the sand, then fought some seagulls for dinner. (No, I wasn't eating THEIR dinner.) Third I am reading a really good book and I want to finish it. But I am posting, because I am good like that.
I don't have much to say right now. I've mentioned off and on that I am working six days a week right now. I have two weeks left of this. (Well, maybe just one. I found out I get a day off next week, so TWO days off. I am excited about that.) I wasn't sure about quitting one job and working only three days while living on my own. But I've figured things a hundred times and I can make it on one job, this will give me time to dedicate to my writing. And marketing Brothers-in-Arms.
And on the subject of my writing. I haven't written much this month and probably won't. I can't seem to work as much as I am, and the hours I have been, and concentrate on writing. But I have an idea for a new book, actually a couple, and I want to start up again in October.
Also my publisher - I still LOVE saying that - contacted me. The book is with an editor right now, but even better THEY ARE WORKING ON COVER IDEAS! COVER!!!!! I can't wait to see the ideas for it they are going to send me.
I am going to keep this post short because I need to share a link. And all of you need to read it. My best friend, whom I call Phil on here, is working on a book. And it is one of those books I think everyone should read and I am going to throw at people when she publishes it. (Because she HAS to publish it. *Squints at Phil*) I want to share the link to her blog so you can read more about the book.
Which you should do. Because it is AMAZING! And painful. But worth the painful.
Now I need to go. The book I'm reading was sent to me so I could read it and give an opinion on it. And I need to finish it this week. (It's a good excuse for me locking myself away and just reading a really good book.)
Hogan's Heroes quote. When Carter was pretending to be Hitler.
P.S. I FORGOT I WAS GOING TO REVEAL THE BLOOPERS FOR THE BROTHERS-IN-ARMS TRAILER! Another reason I shouldn't work this much. Okay, next week. Monday. Reveal date for the bloopers!
